Description of the position:
We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Data Platform Architect to drive and execute the design and implementation of a company-wide corporate data platform, with a strong focus on data governance and system integrations. This role will be pivotal in establishing a scalable, reliable, and compliant data infrastructure that supports cross-functional data needs across the organization.
This position is crucial to ensuring quality, traceability, and availability of enterprise data from products and corporate systems (like CRM, HRIS, ITSM or web portals…). Key Responsibilities and tasks:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure data pipelines and operations to enable seamless integration between corporate systems and our cloud data platform. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect the company’s new cloud data platform, aligned with business needs and technology strategy. 
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of data governance frameworks and policies for corporate systems. Implementing practices for data lineage, cataloguing and data quality monitoring. 
  • Ensure data quality standards are implemented within pipelines to deliver accurate and reliable data ready for AI.
  • Develop and maintain intuitive dashboards and business reports, enabling business users to access real-time insights 
  • Act as a hybrid resource who can rapidly switch between governance strategy, stewardship activities, and hands-on engineering tasks to meet evolving company needs.

Working Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in data operations or similar roles. 
  • Background in the Microsoft ecosystem and cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and modern data architectures. 
  • Proven experience managing and integrating data using Microsoft Azure data solutions, including building pipelines, managing dataflows, and enabling data governance (Purview) within the Azure ecosystem. 
  • Relevant experience integrating corporate systems (CRM, ERP, HRIS, …). 
  • Knowledge of data governance best practices and tools
  • Proven experience with visualization tools like Power BI or Grafana.
Not mandatory but preferred:
    • Previous experience in startups or high-growth environments.
    • MS Azure certifications in the data domain.
    • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and web analytics. 

Soft skills:
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a global, fast-paced environment.
Education and Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree or vocational training qualification: In information technology, or a related field.
Languages:
  • Spanish: Very good Business Spanish required (excellent communication skills). B2/C1 level.
  • English: Very good Business English required (excellent communication skills). B2/C1 level.
Job Conditions:

Job location: Tres Cantos (Madrid). European Union nationality otherwise EU/Spain work permit required as a prerequisite.

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, as an internal employee.

Salary: Depending on qualifications and experience.

Work from home: Hybrid working model including the possibility of working from home (70%) but according to the specific needs that may arise from the perspective of project development, department, clients, and/or partners.
