Professional experience in SAP Consulting, with a focus on SAP logistics module SD (incl. Customizing and OTC (order to cash).

Project Management experience very valuable.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Support-oriented SAP ERP ECC functional consultant, able to investigate complex incidents, understand business processes and operate autonomously within a highly customized SAP ECC environment with multiple integrations. The focus is not on implementing new processes or migrating to S/4HANA, but on supporting existing processes and occasionally participating in improvement projects.
  • Collaboration with other IT and specialist departments as well as external partners to ensure smooth integration of SAP solutions into the existing system landscape.
  • Expected activity split:

70-80% support: tickets, incidents, application management (AMS), corrective and evolutive

maintenance, 2nd level support

20-30% projects and improvements

Soft Skills:

Strong understanding of business processes as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working.

You like to work in a team-oriented manner.

Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)Spanish skills highly recommended. German skills valuable, but not required.

You have a high degree of initiative and want to actively shape change.

Education and Certifications:

Completed studies in (business) informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on IT.

English: C1 equivalent, no certification needed

Working Experience:

Genuine prior experience working as a consultant in SAP ERP ECC, at least 2-3 years

Professional skills:

Mandatory skills:

  • SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) — the single most important requirement of the search; covers 60-70% of managed incidents
  • Desirable experience within SD: Order Management, Pricing, Outputs, Billing, integration with external systems
  • Knowledge of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes: Sales Order → Delivery → Billing → Financial Integration
  • Comfortable with SAP transactions, tables, customizing, incident analysis, process traceability, functional investigation
  • Basic debugging and technical analysis
  • Prior experience in SAP functional support, application management or AMS

Job Conditions:

Job location: Madrid. European Union nationality otherwise EU/Spain work permit required as a prerequisite.

Expected travel: Very limited, just a few days trip per year, only during the weekdays, to the global headquarters in Hamburg (Germany) for teaming and alignment.

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, as internal employee.

Salary: Depending on qualification and experience.
