They will hire the selected candidate as an internal, permanent employee based in Madrid to provide services to their global organization.Description of the positionWe’re looking for a Technical Project Manager for their global operations in Madrid. He/she will join the CIO Office, acting as a strategic connector between IT, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
As a Project Manager, he/she will be responsible for coordinating strategic projects, ensuring alignment across technical domains, and establishing portfolio management standards.
He/she will work closely with senior leadership, engineering, IT, and PMO teams to provide visibility, consistency, and execution across initiatives. And also will be responsible for leading and coordinating some projects within the portfolio.Key Responsibilities and Tasks- Translate strategic vision into actionable projects and oversee their execution.
- Align project methodologies, reporting, and governance with global PMO standards.
- Define and uphold project management standards across IT initiatives.
- Manage the IT project portfolio, including planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Monitor progress, risks, and performance across projects.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication among stakeholders and teams.
- Deliver projects as part of the project delivery team.
- Provide tools, guidance, and support to improve project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Promote continuous improvement and a culture of transparency and accountability.
Working ExperienceMore than 5 years of hands-on experience in Project Management or a similar role.Tech skills (required)- Proven experience in project management within multinational environments.
- Experience working closely with CIOs, PMOs, and cross-functional technical teams.
- Knowledge of project governance frameworks and portfolio management tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
Tech skills (preferred)- Experience in startups or scale-ups, especially in tech or SaaS.
- Knowledge of MS Project, Planner, Dynamics 365, Jira, ServiceNow, and similar platforms.
- Knowledge of PMP, Prince2, and Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding IT strategy, architecture, and application of lifecycle management.
Soft skills- Global Mindset: Experience working in a multi-national environment or on international teams.
- Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Communication: Clear and concise communicator, both verbally and in writing.

Education and Training- Bachelor's Degree or vocational training qualification: In information technology, telecommunications, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications are a plus (PMP, Scrum Master…)
Languages- Spanish: At least a medium level is required. B2 level or higher.
- English: Excellent Business English required (it is their working language). B2/C1 level.
Job conditions- Job location: Tres Cantos (Madrid).
- Work permit: European Union nationality. Otherwise, an EU/Spain work permit is required.
- Employment type: Permanent Full Time, as an internal employee.
- Salary: Depending on qualifications and experience.
- Work from home: Hybrid working model, including the possibility of working from home (70%), but according to the specific needs that may arise from the perspective of project development, department, clients, and/or partners.
