Description of the position:
Our customer is a fast-growing technology startup with global ambitions and a passion for innovation. Their mission is to scale smart, and they’re building the backbone of our operations on Microsoft Dynamics365.
We’re looking for an ERP Financial Solutions Owner for its global operations in Madrid. We are seeking a skilled and proactive candidate, who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to make a real impact from day one, with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics365 Finance and other Financial and Planning tools. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of their Financial Systems across global business units. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure their financial systems support scalable, efficient, and compliant financial operations across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities and tasks:- Lead and support implementation projects of Dynamics 365 Finance across multiple regions, in coordination with the PMO, including future potential deployments of additional Finance tools (e.g. Procurement, FP&A)
- Ensure system performance, data integrity, and user adoption across departments.
- Collaborate with finance, product, and tech teams to streamline processes and improve reporting.
- Provide hands-on support, training, and documentation for internal users.
- Translate business needs into functional ERP configurations and enhancements.
- Monitor and optimize workflows, integrations, and automation within the Dynamics ecosystem.
- Stay ahead of regulatory and compliance requirements in international operations.
- Manage vendor/partner activities (Microsoft, other SaaS vendors and System Integrators).
- Develop other Digitalization initiatives around automation and AI in collaboration with the Finance Team.
Working Experience:- 7+ years hands-on experience in ERP implementation, maintenance, and operations.
- Strong financial literacy and understanding of accounting workflows.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics365 Finance in multinational environments.
Not mandatory but preferred:- Experience with Power Platform, Copilot, Azure, or other Microsoft ecosystem tools.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with compliance and audit requirements in financial systems.
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and subscription billing.
- Knowledge of data analytics or BI tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Exposure to startup scaling challenges (e.g. rapid hiring, international expansion).
Soft skills:- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
Education and Training:- Bachelor's Degree or vocational training qualification: in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications: Not mandatory but preferred- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics365 Finance
Languages:- Spanish: Very good Business Spanish required (excellent communication skills). B2/C1 level.
- English: Very good Business English required (excellent communication skills). B2/C1 level.
Job Conditions:
Job location: Tres Cantos (Madrid). European Union nationality otherwise EU/Spain work permit required as a prerequisite.
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, as internal employee.
Salary: Depending on qualification and experience.
Work from home: Hybrid working model including the possibility of working from home (70%) but according to the specific needs that may arise from the perspective of project development, department, clients, and/or partners.
